My auntie loves these shoes. My aunt is 80, shuffles when she walks, and has very bad callous on the bottom of her feet which caused her a lot of discomfort. I had bought her some shoes that cost me over $150 but her callous got worse. I found the ortho shoes on Amazon and hoped they would help. My aunt was excited when she saw them, she thought they were pretty. She liked that they had a Velcro strap for closure so she wouldn’t have to fumble with laces. When she walked in them her shuffling decreased . Her gait became steadier and she said there was less discomfort when she walks. I highly recommend this product. Skip the super expensive shoes.

Practical and Stylish

I purchased these for my 96-year-old mother who was in need of a comfortable walking shoe. Edema was making it impossible for her to wear many of her shoes, especially those with straps across the top. Purchased in gray, they look stylish and she raves about the comfort. At a size 8, her toes appear to be right at the tip but with the rounded toes, she doesn’t think she will require a larger size. The texture of the soles prevents them from slipping over the carpet, which is reassuring. The shoes arrived quickly, actually ahead of the projected delivery date. If all continues to go well, we’ll consider purchasing them in another color.
